Loux the Vintage Guru

Comfortable in a perfectly tailored three-piece suit, Lourens Loux Gebhardt gazes earnestly at the world through a pair of vintage spectacles.
His signature items – a chinstrap beard and beret – are what distinguishes him from the men beside him. You’d be forgiven for thinking this man is from the past – a time traveller who came here to set us on the straight and narrow – style wise that is.
But Loux the Vintage Guru, as he is affectionately known, is no time traveller – he just has an all-encompassing love and appreciation for vintage threads.
Loux was born and bred in the capital city of Windhoek, Namibia where he currently works as an internal auditor and part-time fashion designer and stylist.
Despite a financial background, his life-long love affair with fashion is what ultimately inspired him to start his own menswear label, Loux Designs, in 2012.

  1. heh. I admit that I am totally clueless about fashion. See, to me, Loux could use a little more material in his pantlegs. If the legs on those trousers creep up any higher -- I'd call them Capri pants?!... :p

  2. Lovely! a personal and stylish take on vintage, topped with a beret: I couldn't ask for more!
